Our founder Cher Fox (The Datanista), CDMP really enjoyed this candid conversation with Saul Gomez of SAB Podcasts about her career path, data challenges we see with our clients, how to be more inclusive and diverse in #dataanalytics and building #dataproducts and #datateams, the importance of #dataliteracy and #datafluency, how women can get a seat at the table, more talk about #AI and #GenerativeAI, why #psychologicalsafety matters, the importance of really being ready (reality check) for advanced next generation technologies and that many #diversity issues aren’t intentional or nefarious.
Apologies for the technical difficulties later in the chat (she kept getting kicked off her internet, #ruralproblems) and for so many uhs, ums and you knows. A lot of people don't know she suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) from a rollover SUV accident (thanks Ford Explorer and Firestone tires) in 1998. Her prognosis was she'd never hold down a full-time job again and she'd live in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Not this lady – check her Linked In profile if you don’t believe it (and don't believe everything a doctor tells you)! #Podcasts and speaking engagements help her work on this struggle but we can hear it and realize it can be distracting.
