One thing we didn't answer in the podcast was how I came to be known as The Datanista. In 2016, the 1st year I started public speaking at conferences, there was a conference I could not register for without a Twitter handle. I had always been known to be pretty fashionably dressed for a tech gal, a fashionista if you will (Nordstrom was a client of mine for years.) So I spun fashion into data and The Datanista was born.
So what does it mean:
Datanista - da*ta*ni*sta /day ta knee sta/ a designer of haute data OR a devoted follower of data. And now you know why I titled my newsletter as such!
